Director of Marketing and Communications (Part Time)
Description
Director of Marketing and Communications (Remote — U.S.) at JCC Maccabi Camp Kingswood (Part-time; ~20 hrs/week, with option to negotiate full-time). You’ll own year-round marketing + communications strategy, steward the camp brand, lead storytelling across all channels, manage comms calendars, run/evaluate paid campaigns, track performance metrics, and oversee creative direction for content, presentations, and collateral (including merchandise/apparel and the online camp store). Start date March 16, 2026; apply by March 9, 2026.
Qualifications
4-year degree required
5+ years progressively responsible experience in marketing/communications/brand leadership
Proficiency with Canva (Adobe Creative Suite a plus) and tools like Mailchimp, WordPress, Google Workspace, Zoom; familiarity with camp platforms (CampMinder/CampInTouch listed)
Strong social media + digital marketing knowledge (Meta, TikTok, emerging platforms), project management, editorial judgment, and ability to execute as well as lead
Comfort reflecting Jewish culture/values in communications; meaningful prior camp experience required (overnight camp preferred)
Able to work flexible hours (evenings/weekends) with some travel for events/on-site visits
Salary and Benefits
Salary: $50,000–$60,000/year (USD)
Benefits: Posting notes that health benefits can be negotiated and camp for children can be negotiated; team works remotely Sept–May and on-site in Maine mid-May–early Sept.
