You’ll lead Launchpad, Ocean Visions’ platform that connects innovators/researchers with tailored interdisciplinary assistance to advance underdeveloped, high-uncertainty ocean–climate solutions. You’ll own overall program strategy and execution, expand Launchpad beyond its original marine carbon dioxide removal focus, recruit innovators and expert advisors, build partnerships with accelerators/incubators/funders, contribute to org strategy/learning, and support fundraising for Launchpad operations. Travel up to 20%.
Qualifications
Required:
Master’s/MBA (or equivalent experience) in a relevant field (e.g., environmental science, engineering, innovation management).
7+ years in innovation (preferably ocean or climate technologies/solutions).
Proven ability to manage complex programs across multiple initiatives; strong environmental risk assessment understanding; excellent written/oral communication; strong collaboration skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office and remote-team productivity tools.
Desired:
Experience with startups/nonprofits/academic research teams; familiarity with a range of ocean-based climate solutions; ability to operate under scientific/institutional uncertainty; fundraising + stakeholder engagement track record.
Salary and Benefits
Salary: $125,000 – $145,000/year (USD)
