LCV is hiring a Regional Campaigns Director to support issue advocacy and electoral programs across ~16 states, coordinating with state affiliates and national allies. The role includes building and executing federal independent expenditure + issue campaign plans (including clean energy/climate), partnering with affiliates on state/local priorities, managing budgets, ensuring compliance/reporting with Legal/Finance, and helping develop campaign materials (TV/radio/direct mail/scripts) with an equity-centered lens. Travel up to ~15%.
Qualifications
Required: 5+ years of issue and/or electoral campaign experience (message development, campaign plans, paid media, voter contact), including culturally competent engagement of people of color and young voters.
Preferred: Budget management; experience with a national org with state affiliates/chapters; state/local campaigns; coalition work; independent expenditure work.
Skills & values: Strong strategic campaign chops, sound political judgment, excellent writing/communication, highly collaborative, able to multitask under deadlines; demonstrated track record working across diverse identities and a strong racial justice/equity orientation; interest in electoral politics and how it impacts policy advocacy.
Salary and Benefits
Salary: $92,041 – $112,041 / year (depending on experience).
